May's Employee Spotlight

Our spotlight this month is on Ilia Chiriboga. Ilia was born and raised in Guayaquil, Ecuador. She met her husband, Marcos, in Ecuador and they now live in Euless TX. They do not have children just yet but do have two fur babies named Tango and Mosi. Ilia and her husband got into trucking five years ago by her father-in-law. While Marcos and Ilia were living in NJ, Marcos’ father lived in TX and drove a truck; he talks Ilia and her husband into moving down to TX and driving a truck. A few months later, they met some people who had their own small trucking company and Ilia began her work in this industry as a dispatcher! She has been with Freedom for a year come June. What Ila loves about trucking most is that it is ever-changing making it always interesting and full of possibilities. She loves doing nails, which for some of us is good to know after a year of no salon visits! Ilia takes online courses in her spare time as she loves learning and trying new things! We have been very blessed to have Ilia as part of our Freedom family!
