Employee Spotlight

Shelley Morgan was born and raised in the Wichita KS area growing up on a quarter horse ranch! She and her wonderful (the love of her life!) husband, John Henyan, now live in North Richland Hills TX. She has 7 kids, Morgan, Elizabeth, Chase, Olivia (who you’ve met in a previous spotlight!) Daniel, Cami and Lane. Shelley has an 11 year old chihuahua named Lucy and is adopting 2 more this month; some of us has had a sneak-peek of the new pups and they are so cute! Shelley has been in trucking for 41 years! Growing up, she started traveling the country with her horses and developed a deep respect and admiration for life on the road and how truckers are a big family, caring deeply for each other. She started with a brokerage company back in 1980 and have been in transportation ever since. Our TX operation joined the Freedom team back in July of 2016 and we will be celebrating all this month! Shelley says what she loves most about trucking is: “Trucks Bring It!!” She’s right about that; everything we buy/consume has been brought to us by a trucker! Shelley and her husband love to travel and gardening. She loves spending time with her grandbabies; Tucker and Nora are almost 3, Jane is 15 months old and there is 1 more on the way. For Shelley, family is everything. Well, we are so blessed to have Shelley as an important member of our Freedom family!
