Meet our Director of Safety and Compliance, John Smith. John started his career in the trucking industry at US Xpress in the early 90’s. John has worked for over 25 years as a Safety Professional at all different levels. His career has taken him to Nashville, Montgomery, South West Florida, and now back to his home state of Georgia. John has worked with small, medium, and large-sized fleets, both private and for-hire carriers. John obtained his CDL back in the early 90’s and still carries it to this day. He received his Certified Director of Safety designation in the early 2000’s. John grew up in Ringgold, GA and holds an Associate’s Degree in Criminal Justice. We are very happy to have John as part of the Freedom Trans Dedicated family!
